HCBB is a grant recipient of the Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc.

On May 26, 2016, the Hawaii Cord Blood Bank was honored with a grant by the Friends of Hawaii Charity to help support our program. Above and beyond that generous gift, a donation of matched funds raised by the Hawaii Cord Blood Bank was received.

The Friends of Hawaii Charities - the event host of the Sony Open in Hawaii - was formed for the purpose of raising funds for Hawaii charities. Through their charity partnership with the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., they have been able to distribute $16 million over the years to programs like ours.
