HCBB Receives Friends of Hawaii Charities Grant

Hawaii Cord Blood Bank received a generous grant of $6,000 from the Friends of Hawaii Charities in support of our program.  HCBB also participated in their Aloha for Hawaii Charities campaign, which included a percentage match donation on all funds raised.  Thank you to the Friends of Hawaii Charities and to all of our donors for your charitable contributions.  We are deeply appreciative of your continued support.

The Friends of Hawaii Charities is the event host of the Sony Open in Hawaii and was formed for the purpose of raising funds for Hawaii charities.  Through their partnership with the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., they have been able to distribute over $23 million since 1999 to programs like ours.  We are truly grateful for organizations like the Friends of Hawaii Charities who help to make our mission of giving the gift of life a second time possible.
