The Hawai‘i Cord Blood Bank is an independent, non-profit community service organization headquartered at the Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children. It works in collaboration with Hawai'i Bone Marrow Registry and Bloodworks Northwest*, as well as island doctors, nurses and hospitals.

*Bloodworks Northwest, formerly known as Puget Sound Blood Center, changed their name in 2015. The name change was done to better reflect their mission, the partnerships and customers they serve, which includes Washington, Oregon, Alaska and of course Hawai‘i.
